A man died after he was shot early Saturday within the borders of Koreatown.
The deadly shooting took place at approximately 6:40 a.m. in a commercial neighborhood by the intersection of Western Avenue and San Marino Street.
The victim, described as a 35-year-old man, was approached by an assailant who was driving a vehicle.
The suspect used a handgun to shoot at the victim. After shooting at the victim, the suspect fled in a vehicle southbound on Western Avenue.
Paramedics pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
The suspected shooter is a man in his 20s. The motive for the killing is still unknown.
