WHAT: Anthem Blue Cross, California’s leading healthcare provider, in partnership with the Seoul Medical Group, is proud to celebrate Chuseok (Korean Thanksgiving) with a food distribution and healthcare outreach event in the heart of Koreatown. Anthem Blue Cross is taking the concept of Thanksgiving, and the concept of sharing food, especially when times are tough, and turning it into a celebration. In addition to providing food staples which are the centerpiece of this important cultural celebration, Anthem Blue Cross representatives will be on hand to aid residents with questions regarding their Medi-CAL / Medicare coverage. A Korean translator will be present. With open enrollment soon approaching, Anthem Blue Cross is committed to ensuring that Californians are soundly educated and informed about their healthcare options. This event has drawn up to 500 people in past years.
